A man after God’s own heart
In 1989, while living in Hanau Germany, God showed Bishop Wheatley the ministry that was in store for him. After ignoring the call for several years, Bishop Wheatley finally submitted to a relationship with the Lord. During his time of preparation, Bishop Wheatley served under the leadership of Dr. Raymond Showell of Gethsemane COGIC. It was there that he learned the importance of being a student of God’s word.
Bishop Wheatley has a call on his life to plant churches and nourish the people of God. God has given him the ability to make the gospel of Christ appealing without deviating from the truth. Bishop Wheatley is using the anointing of God to change lives and strengthen the weary. He has pastored for over ten years, he was a founding member and executive treasurer of the True Word Christian Fellowship, and he is currently the Dean of Bishops for the Chesapeake Regional College of Bishops. In addition, Bishop Wheatley also serves as the Presiding Bishop of Fellowship of Spirit International Ministries.
